CHB Internship
Meet the 2007 Summer Intern

Amber Jones
Amber Jones, from Belen, N.M., served as this years CHB LLC communications intern. Jones, a senior at Kansas State University (K-State), is dual majoring in agricultural communications and journalism, and animal sciences and industry with plans to graduate in December 2007.
Jones’ background has kept her involved with the beef industry and made her an easy fit in the CHB offices. Her experiences showing cattle through 4-H and FFA, and serving as a 2000 National Beef Ambassador allowed her to gain knowledge of beef production and the industry.
While at CHB, Jones assisted staff with the Marketing Library CD updates and redesigns, designing industry newsletters, writing articles on special events, and developing promotional advertisements and marketing materials. “This has been a great learning experience for me,” Jones says. “I have been able to perfect skills I already have and develop new ones at the same time. This was a great opportunity for me.”
